  1. Be punctual at all times!  This shows respect for our speakers and staff. Also, this is especially important when we have designated meeting spots for transportation to and from the Capitol.
  2.  

  3. Be at designated places at all times.  Attendance is mandatory for all sessions.  There is absolutely no leaving the designated campus area without staff permission.  Failure to comply will result in you being sent home at your parents’ expense.
  4.  

  5. Maintain a respectful attitude toward your peers, City staff, William Jessup personnel and state capitol staff.
  6.  

  7. Be out of rooms by 7:50 a.m. every morning.  Breakfast is from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

  9. Be in your room by 10:15 p.m. every evening.  Lights out at 10:45 p.m.
  10.  

  11. Attend all meals and social functions whether you eat or not.
  12.  

  13. Males and females are restricted to their respective floors:  NO EXCEPTIONS! Failure to comply will result in you being sent home at your parents’ expense.

  15. Stay with your group at all times.  Do not wander or straggle behind.
  16.  

  17. No smoking will be allowed at any time during the conference.
  18.  

  19. No drugs, except approved medication, will be permitted.
  20.  

  21. Electronic equipment such as radios, iPods, stereos, TVs, laptop computers, printers, etc., are not allowed. If any are discovered, they will be confiscated and returned at the end of the conference.

  23. Cell phone use will be permitted only during designated times. Cell phones will be gathered every evening at bedtime and returned in the morning. Text messaging or internet browsing during sessions is strictly prohibited. If any cell phones appear during restricted times, they will be confiscated and returned at the end of the conference.
  24.  

  25. The dorm/apartment telephones are not to be used.
  26.  

  27. Students will be charged for any lost keys or property damage.
  28.  

  29. Interact with as many students as possible during free time.
  30.  

  31. If you have any problems, see your small group leader.

 

Note:  Any violation of these rules can result in the student being sent home at parents’ expense.
